Some friends invited us to the Nigerian Independence Celebration in Toledo; we gladly accepted. Obed is an engineer and originally from Nigeria and Emily, Ph.D. is from Akron, Ohio, and they were unable to attend the annual festival, so they offered their tickets, and their children to us. We took both--the children were on a one-night basis. Who would pass up an opportunity like this:

Very cool. I love to attend celebrations from other cultures. We attended a Samoan wedding reception once...there was a cultural experience!!!
